PALM HARBOR, Fla. (AP) — Laurie Rinker had two back-nine eagles and finished with a 6-under 67 on Saturday to take a three-stroke lead after the first round of the Legends Tour Open.

Rinker had a 9-foot eagle putt on the par-5 10th and a 20-footer on the par-5 15th.

"Two eagles in one day is pretty exciting," Rinker said. "The two eagles were the difference in getting it a little lower on the scoreboard. I think that's a first in my career."

Trish Johnson, Lorie Kane and Nancy Scranton were tied for second at 70 in the season-ending event on Innisbrook Resort's Island Course.
