Robert Griffin III did a number on the Oklahoma secondary

OU REPORT CARD — Robert Griffin III can build his Heisman mix tape on highlights of him burning the Sooner secondary. But Landry Jones' streak of 24 games with a touchdown pass is over.

A back-and-forth game is cause for some up-and-down grades. For every positive against Baylor, there was a negative for OU. And ultimately there were more positives for the Bears.

Secondary: D

Just a horrible night for the Sooner secondary. The Bears had receivers running wide open behind cornerbacks and safeties. Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III didn't always connect with them, but when he did, OU paid a big price. Baylor had two touchdowns of 60-plus yards on a night that it rolled up 485 yards passing. And the last mistake by the OU secondary was the most costly — a 34-yard, game-winning touchdown pass from Griffin to Terrance Williams.

Belldozer: A

The efficiency is staggering. The Sooners used the power-run formation featuring back-up quarterback Blake Bell on six plays. The result? Five touchdowns and one fourth-down conversion. Late in the second quarter, Bell picked up a first down with a great second effort on fourth down. A few plays later, Bell scored a 3-yard touchdown. On the first possession of the second half, Trey Millard scored a 5-yard touchdown out of the Belldozer, then on the next drive, Bell scored on a 1-yard run. He scored again in the fourth quarter with runs of 4 and 6 yards. The formation worked so well that the Sooners were going to go for a two-point conversion and a possible win before a false-start penalty forced them to kick.

Penalties: F

The Sooners committed nine penalties for 90 yards, and as bad as the volume of miscues was, the timing was even worse. On their first possession of the game, a chop block negated what would've been a 71-yard touchdown pass. On Baylor's possession that put OU in a two-touchdown hole late in the game, a facemask moved the Bears into the red zone. They scored the next play.
