Are you ready for another celebrity skin care line? The latest to enter the market with her cleanser and cream is Robin McGraw, philanthropist, television personality and two-time New York Times bestselling author. And the wife  television talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw.

Robin McGraw Revelation, touted as a purpose-driven lifestyle brand, premiered wth four skin care products on HSN last week. The brand brings to life McGraw’s philosophy of self-care and her experiences as a lifelong advocate for women, particularly those affected by domestic violence.

“I believe that true beauty emanates from within, and I feel my best when I take care of myself,” she says. “My hope is that these products help other women care for themselves, so they feel their best and are empowered to do their best work, no matter what that is.”

Inspired by Robin’s own skincare regimen, the Robin McGraw Revelation collection’s four products, a cleanser, scrub, moisturizer and overnight mask, all contain the proprietary Flora-Cell Complex, which combines Swiss Alpine Edelweiss Extract with skin-compatible liposomes.

I glanced at the ingredient and features information on HSN and didn’t see anything that made me think this was going to improve my skin dramatically, but the collection is already sold out. Plenty of women must be putting their faith in McGraw’s lotions and potions. I did see Robin on HSN and she touted the potent liposomes and clinical studies that showed results. Prices range from $19.95 to $69.95.

In honor of the HSN launch, the brand made a $10,000 donation to When Georiga Smiled, a non-profit foundation Robin founded to create and support programs for women and children, especially those affected by domestic violence.

Additionally, starting on April 15 at http://www.robinmcgrawrevelation.com/, net profits from select Robin McGraw Revelation products will benefit the foundation and its programs. The first product of this kind will be the brand’s AveryLasting Love Lipgloss collection.
