Rocky Ford, Colo., melons linked to illness, deaths
An Oklahoman who ate cantaloupe from the Rocky Ford, Colo. , area is among those sickened in a multi state listeria outbreak that has killed four people, according to the state Health Department.
Authorities are trying to determine if six other Oklahomans also have been infected. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said this is the first outbreak of listeria in cantaloupe.
