Rogers State coach signs 6 in recruiting class

CLAREMORE, Okla. (AP) — Rogers State University women's basketball coach Bobby Cope has announced the six players who make up his first recruiting class heading into the 2014-15 season.

Jordan Evans, from Tulsa; Amari Jones, also from Tulsa; Jalissa Felici, from Bellevue, Nebraska; and Taylor Koelsch, from Owasso; all join the Hillcats as transfers. Kelsy Byrd, from Ketchum and Madison Dearmin, from Balko, come to RSU from the high school ranks.

The Hillcats are entering their second year in the Heartland Conference, beginning their second year in the NCAA's Division II membership process.
