COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Less than a minute remained in the third quarter Saturday when administrative coordinator Matt McMillen walked up to Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops and whispered some good news.

Iowa 24, Penn State 23.

The Sooners led Texas A&M 66-21 at the time, which is the only reason McMillen dared approach Stoops with the game in progress.

“We were pretty far ahead, so he didn’t think it would distract me,” a smiling Stoops admitted after his team scored more points than any visiting team at Kyle Field in a 66-28 romp.

Those same players shrugged when asked about the result.

“No comment about it,” said OU running back Chris Brown, who had 117 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 13 carries. “It’s good, but no comment right now.”

No comment? About the BCS?

“We’re not really worried about the BCS,” Sooners freshman receiver Ryan Broyles said.
