— The roof of a building collapsed under heavy rain Thursday morning.

Mark Pacconi, owner of Marco Sales screen printing business, woke at 5 a.m. to go in early and catch up an a job at the building, 1811 E State Highway 152.

“I decided “What the heck,' rolled over and slept another 30 minutes,” he said.

If Pacconi had stayed with his original plan, he would have been inside his shop when the roof collapsed and walls fell down, he said.

No cause has been determined, but a downpour and high winds may have been to blame. Pacconi said his office and computers are intact.
