Rose State College will host its 20th annual Global Oklahoma from 9:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the campus, 6420 SE 15. The event is free and open to everyone.

Vietnam is the featured country in this year's festival. To kick off the celebration, a special Vietnamese concert featuring singers Mihn Tuyet, Quynh Vi and Quang Le and the Ocean Band will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Rose State College Performing Arts Theatre. Concert tickets cost $15 and $20.

Dance troupes and musicians will perform on four stages Saturday. More than 50 cultural and educational exhibits will be set up to provide festival goers with information about Vietnam.

Other countries like the Philippines, Korea and Mexico will be represented. In all, there will be 30 countries represented at the festival, college spokeswoman Natalie Jordan said.

There also will be a children's activity center with origami, animal masks and dragon bead necklaces. For more information, go to www.rose.edu.
