MIDWEST CITY — Rose State College said Tuesday that Sandra Stephens has been named coordinator of the college's Small Business Development Center. Stephens came to the college after being director of business and industry services at Mid-Del Technology Center, where she consulted with area businesses and led a team for business training in several specialized programs. Stephens has master's degrees in both business and education. “Ms. Stephens' appointment confirms Rose State's commitment to small business,” said Stan Greil, vice president of workforce development, in a statement. “The future of the communities we serve will be determined, in part, by the success of the area's entrepreneurial base. Sandy's experience and expertise will be a key facet in ensuring entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in eastern Oklahoma County.” For more information on the center, go to www.rose.edu/small-business-development-center.
