Hilary Rosen apologized to Ann Romney today for her comment last night that the Republican frontrunner's wife has "never worked a day in her life."

"As a pundit, I know my words on CNN last night were poorly chosen," Rosen said in a statement, according to CNN's Jim Acosta. "I apologize to Ann Romney."

Rosen, a Democratic strategist and sometime adviser to Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., has faced backlash from conservatives and liberals alike, as First Lady Michelle Obama, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, top strategist David Axelrod, and Wasserman Schultz all condemned her comments via Twitter.
