Royal, Brown among inactives for Chargers

SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal and running back Ronnie Brown are inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Also inactive are linebackers Donald Butler and Demorrio Williams, tackle Jeromy Clary, guard Tyrone Green and tight end Ladarius Green.
Royal, signed to help replace Vincent Jackson, has a hamstring injury and is missing his fourth straight game and sixth overall.
Inactive for the Panthers are quarterback Jimmy Clausen, wide receiver David Gettis, running back Jonathan Stewart, linebacker James Anderson, center Geoff Hangartner, tackle Bruce Campbell and defensive tackle Dwan Edwards.
