Russell Westbrook will not play against Cleveland on Thursday Published: March 20, 2014

Kyrie Irving is out for Cleveland, but the Oklahoma City Thunder will also be without its starting point guard Thursday night.

Russell Westbrook will not play against the Cavaliers in the first game of a back-to-back for the Thunder, as reported by Darnell Mayberry. The Thunder is resting Westbrook some in back-to-back games for the duration of the regular season. The Thunder play Toronto on Friday.

It's the second game this week Westbrook has been held out of for rest. The first was a loss to Dallas on Sunday.
