Armstrong Auditorium, 14400 S Bryant, welcomes the Russian National Ballet for two performances as part of its 2012-13 concert series. The internationally acclaimed company will present Sergei Prokofiev's three-act ballet “Cinderella” at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28. With choreography by Rostislav Zakharov, the beloved fairy tale will feature lavish sets and authentic costumes from the Bolshoi Theatre era.

Two one-act ballets will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29: “Romeo and Juliet,” featuring music by Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa, and “Chopiniana,” a celebration of Frederick Chopin's music that features choreography by Mikhail Fokine.

“With two sold-out shows over the past two seasons, it is clear Oklahomans love the Russian National Ballet Theatre,” said Armstrong's house manager Shane Granger. “Only 75 feet separates the stage from the back wall, allowing even our largest audiences to have perfect sight lines for this world-class experience in the luxurious Armstrong Auditorium.
