Your thoughts on Jenks and Union playing two really good Texas teams?

I like the matchups like this and figure this is a pretty good year for those two teams to go down and compete against those top teams. They're both really, really good and don't figure too get much competition this year during their regular seasons. Jenks' offense is going to be fun to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing how that unit especially performs in an atmosphere like that.

What games are you all covering the next two days?

I'm going to Edmond Santa Fe at Midwest City tonight and Tulsa East Central at Del City tomorrow. Scott Wright has Norman-Norman North tonight and Douglass at Tulsa Washington tomorrow. Ed Godfrey has Heritage Hall at Casady tonight and Edmond Memorial-Edmond North tomorrow. We're also staffing McGuinness-Shawnee, Mustang-Yukon, Carl Albert-Southmoore and Westmoore-Moore.

What are your thoughts on the Titans-Southmoore game? I think it will be a close game.

It will be. I picked Southmoore to win a close one, though could see it going in several directions. I like the Titans after seeing them last week against Midwest City but with an all-new set of skill-position players, it's going to take them awhile to start coming together, especially on offense. And I really like what Southmoore is doing offensively right now. Carl Albert is going to be good by the end of the season but it'll take time, like it almost always does for the Titans, for it all to come into a package.
