Saturday, the Sooner defenders showed why.
Led by linebacker Ryan Reynolds and defensive end Jeremy Beal , who combined for five sacks, the Sooners kept Tulsa ’s high-powered offense scoreless in a 45-0 head-kicking at Owen Field.
