Saints sign WR Camarillo, activate Ruud

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Saints have activated linebacker Barrett Ruud, re-signed receiver Greg Camarillo and placed receiver Adrian Arrington on injured reserve.

Ruud and Camarillo participated in Wednesday's practice. Arrington had surgery to repair his right knee during training camp, but was placed on the active roster in Week 1 before being cut late last week, then signed again Monday.

The Saints acquired Ruud in a trade with Seattle for an unspecified draft pick during the preseason, but used a roster exemption on him last weekend.

The re-signing of Camarillo comes as receiver Devery Henderson recovers from a hit to the head that forced him from last Sunday's game.

Camarillo had five catches for 58 yards with the Saints during the preseason.
