Two bodies found this week in Sequoyah County probably are the result of a murder-suicide, authorities said Thursday.

Investigators suspect Kevin Johnson, 23, slit the throat of Amethyst Floresca, 20, and then shot himself on State Highway 17, said Jessica Brown, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman. The unmarried couple had a child together and were involved in a custody dispute.

TULSA Man arrested in fatal stabbing

Police are investigating the Wednesday night stabbing death of a 19-year-old Tulsa Community College student.

Sgt. Mike Huff said Thursday that Jeremy Giefer, 18, remained in police custody as officers continued to investigate the death of Amey Mason.

Giefer is accused of stabbing Mason multiple times, Huff said. When two friends tried to help Mason, they also were stabbed, Huff said.

Shooting linked to parking dispute

A dispute over a parking space appears to have led to the death of a Tulsa man Wednesday night.

Rolland Miles, 29, died of a gunshot wound, Sgt. Mike Huff said. Miles was not believed a participant in the argument and may have been the shooter's target.

No arrests have been made, but officers suspect Miles was shot by a juvenile relative.
