Sam Bradford wins more awards

After staying up late Monday evening to receive the Headliner Award, Sam Bradford was up early Tuesday morning for more hardware during OU’s Max Weitzenhoffer Scholar Athlete Breakfast.

The Oklahoma quarterback was one of the recipients of the Athletic Director’s Leadership Award and the Dan Gibbens Outstanding Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Sooner track and field athlete Amy Backel also received the same two awards as well as one of the Athletics Council Service Awards.

The Conference Medal, the highest career honor given to an OU athlete, went to volleyball player Lacy Barnes and gymnast Jake Messina while the Athletics Council Achievement Awards, which recognize perseverance, went to gymnast Chris Brooks and baseball player Stephen Porlier.

yeah I freaking hate this place too, unfortunately, I live here, cant wait for the day to transfer out, but Bradford's gpa was well publicized before the heisman, during the heisman week, you name it. In fact it would take you less time to google any heisman article than to argue with me. That is why they made a big deal out ringing the bell on wall street, cause he is a FINANCE major. you can also look it up on Big 12 academic team with minimal effort. On a personal note I truly cant wait to leave WF & TX in general!

And wichita falls is so beautiful? Rather be down here than up there in that shi* hole. Where is your proof on his gpa? Never heard/seen that. I just figured they gave awards to any gooner idiot athlete.
