Several new Oklahoma City attractions will be part of the activities and events taking place Saturday at the third annual SandRidge Energy Stars and Stripes River Festival in the Boathouse District.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and includes a duathlon run and kayak race, rowing races, paddle boating and access to the SandRidge Sky Zip, a 700-foot zip line that takes participants on a sky-high ride across the Oklahoma River, and the 175-foot long Extreme Splash water slide.

The Fourth of July-themed festival will include family friendly events, live music, food vendors, and, of course, fireworks. Anyone going to the event can participate in Paddle for the Cure, a friendly dragon boat race benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Admission and parking for the Star and Stripes Festival is free, however, purchasing a Riversport Adventure pass will give participants access to the SandRidge Sky Trail, Sky Slide, Rumble Drop, Air Express Zip Line, Youth Zone and other attractions.
