Science Museum Oklahoma will hold “Stuff the SMO Van” on Monday to help The Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools.

From 2 to 5 p.m., guests can bring new back-to-school items to help fill the van and receive free general admission for their donation. The items will be donated to the foundation to fill their Teachers Warehouse with classroom supplies.

“This is a great opportunity for Science Museum Oklahoma to kick off the school year right,” said Jacquelyn Musgrove, communications director for the museum. “We know most teachers aren't able to purchase extra needed items for their classrooms, so we want to do our part to help fill the shelves.”

There is a gap between what schools have and what teachers and students need to be successful, said Lori Dickinson, president of the foundation.

“Teachers Warehouse helps fill that gap with supplies and materials that directly support the children of Oklahoma City Public Schools,” Dickinson said. For more information, call 602-3760 or visit www.sciencemuseumok.org.
