Science Museum Oklahoma will host a horse adoption presentation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the museum's gardens, 2100 NE 52.

Among the horses available for adoption are several rescued in April after the Seminole County sheriff's office took possession of more than 120 animals in an animal cruelty case.

Included in the adoption presentation are horses such as Sno-Pea, an 11-year-old gray miniature mare, one of 63 horses rescued in the case. For more information about Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue Inc., go to www.blazesequinerescue.com.

The adoption event is in conjunction with the exhibit “Untamed: The Mustang's Plight and Behavior Through Art.”

From 1 to 2 p.m., artist Jennifer Cocoma Hustis will do a live drawing demonstration of the horses available for adoption in the museum gardens. Children of all ages are welcome to participate with museum admission.

The “Untamed” exhibit, which runs through March 1, seeks to create awareness through an interactive art experience that takes the viewer through the natural behavior of the wild horse and its journey from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management roundup to the mustang adoption program.
