— Divers searched an area of Twin Bridges Park for a man who reportedly jumped off a dock into floodwaters Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The man has not been identified, Ottawa County sheriff's Detective Derek Derwin said.

Derwin said recent rains pushed the river several feet above flood stage. Authorities received the emergency call about 1:30 p.m., he said.

Grand River Dam Authority officials are on the scene, Derwin said.

Twin Bridges State Park is located on the northern arm of Grand Lake, which connects into the Neosho River and Spring River. The park is about 87 miles northeast of Tulsa.
