Because of the heavy volume of calls from fans who want tickets to see Oklahoma City’s new NBA basketball team this fall, the team has added a second phone line.

Customers now can call either 601-0975 or (888) 618-HOOP to put their names on a list to be contacted when season tickets and multi-game ticket packages become available, said Dan Mahoney, spokesman for the team’s owners.
Customers also can register online by going to the team’s Web site, www.supersonics.com. Mahoney said he would “strongly urge” people to use the Web site because it will be available 24 hours a day.
“It’s not a priority list, but a way to provide contact information for future season ticket sales information,” Mahoney said.
Operators will be answering the phone lines:
— Today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
— Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
— Monday through July 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

restraunt = restaurant, never have been able to spell that one right the 1st time around...LOL
Response has been so overwhelming that the had to add a SECOND phone line (not lines, plural as someone said below)...LMAO This is almost as good as the first line of the article that said "Downtown gets a major new employer today", high payroll but number of employees about equal to a good size restraunt in bricktown.

Not against progress at all, but I do highly resent when the powers that be resort to spin, half-truths and lies to get what they want from the voters.
jerry, Shaktoolik you are a loser and do not know what is served at a Del City high School game I for 1 know what is served there as i go to all the games
Eric.. Whatever. If so, then why did the ford center sold out when the hornets were here. Get it in your head, son. That hot air in phoenix has got to be frying yall's brains up.
Unfortunately there are plenty of people in Oklahoma City who simply do not want progress of any kind. No matter what is proposed they criticize, complain and cry. I suspect their ancestors were saying the same types of things 100 years ago about telephones and paved roads.
aww albert you are being a negitive nancy again. You didnt want MAPS to pass you didnt want us to pass the ford center well I sudgest you stick with in the Bethany city limits so that you dont have to worry about funding any penny of this endevor that is changing the status of our city. This is amazing and from the results with having to add more phone lines and website being maxed out only shows that people want and crave this type of entertainment and OKC will support it, and welcome the new team with open arms.
Albert - Quit being so negative. I'm sure there will be tickets priced for all socioeconomic classes. My family and I attended several Hornets games in the $10 seats and had a blast. This time around I'll be in line for season tickets with OKC Thunder jersey on.
You guys do understand there will be no discounted tickets this time around as with the Hornets. Are you prepared to fork out some serious cash per seat/per game? Hope so....
I dont care the price, originally from Wichita and a proud resident of Oklahoma for the the last 11 years I am very happy to have an NBA team and finally a pro team that I can truly say is my HOME TEAM.
