The Tulsa World reports that a 19-year-old male was taken into custody in Tulsa Tuesday in connection to a pair of apparently connected stabbing deaths, Osage County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Charlie Cartwright said.

Skiatook police found 74-year-old Esther Driskell stabbed to death about 5 p.m. Monday near Oak Street. Cartwright said deputies discovered a 16-year-old female dead inside an abandoned gold van south of the Skiatook dam about 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Her identity has not been released by authorities. The two victims and the suspect are related, said Detective Shane Thompson with the Skiatook Police Department.
