Second Star Wars Reads Day to be celebrated Oct. 5

The second “Star Wars Reads Day” is being celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 5.  More information about official events is at StarWars.com.

The Southern Oaks Library in Oklahoma City is among the participants, with an event for kids and families from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Here’s more information from the Metropolitan Library site:

Calling all Wookies, Vaders, Leias, Skywalkers & Storm Troopers! Celebrate STAR WARS READS DAY with us! Across the country today people are gathering to celebrate reading and Star Wars. We’ll be joining in with our own Star Wars party! Join us for the festivities, you can even dress up as your favorite Star Wars character if you would like to. Kids will make Star Wars crafts, participate in Star Wars trivia, and more!
