Second victim of crash near Anadarko dies

An Anadarko man has become the second to die from injuries suffered in a June 22 car crash, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Dead are:

Roger Bruce Birch Jr., 25, of Anadarko

Wendell Keahbone, 26, of Anadarko

Birch died Tuesday at OU Medical Center, the patrol said.

Keahbone died June 22 at the scene of the crash, the patrol said.

Birch was a passenger in a car driven by Mark Holder, 19, of Anadarko. The car was on a Caddo County road, 3 miles south of Anadarko, about 7 a.m. when it left the road, struck a fence and a tree and rolled, ejecting four of the car's five occupants, according to a patrol report.

Birch and Keahbone were not wearing seat belts.
