Semi truck driver in critical condition after crash with tour bus in Mayes County

A semi truck driver was in critical condition Thursday morning after his truck struck a tour bus in Mayes County. The driver, whose name wasn’t released, struck a bus full of Mexican tourists on U.S. Highway 69 south of Pryor, troopers reported.

PRYOR — A semi truck driver was in critical condition Thursday morning after his truck struck a tour bus in Mayes County.

The driver, whose name wasn’t released, struck a bus full of Mexican tourists on U.S. 69 south of Pryor, troopers reported. Lt. Betsy Randolph, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, said 14 tourists were treated and released at various Tulsa-area hospitals.
