LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor is planning several stops in Arkansas cities this week as he faces a re-election challenge.
Pryor — a Democrat — faces Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton in the race for a Senate seat from Arkansas.
Pryor plans a news conference Monday in West Memphis followed by a meeting with Razorback Concrete employees then later tour Nucor Steel in Blytheville. On Tuesday he will hold a news conference at Jonesboro Industrial Park and later will tour Anchor Packaging in Jonesboro.
On Wednesday Pryor is to tour Micro Plastics Inc. in Flippin; tour S-C Seasoning Company in Harrison and hold a news conference at toy maker Redman and Associates in Rogers.
