ALTUS — U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn brought his no-nonsense style to town hall meetings in Altus and Lawton Thursday, addressing issues that ranged from the national health care bill and the struggling economy to his decision to block a veterans’ health care bill.

More meetings today

U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Muskogee, will hold two town hall meetings today. The first will be at 8 a.m. at the Washington Street Theatre in Ardmore. The second session will be at noon at the Red River Technology Center in Duncan.
