Senate bill puts restrictions on abortion drugs
The Oklahoma Senate on Tuesday passed a measure that would put restrictions on use of abortion drugs.
House Bill 1970, by Sen. Greg Treat, R-Oklahoma City, and Rep. Randy Grau, R-Edmond, returns to the House for consideration of Senate amendments.
The bill would require physicians to administer abortion-inducing drugs, RU486, in accordance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines.
