Sen. asks FBI to look into 'Girls Gone Wild' claim

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor says he's asked the FBI to investigate who auctioned off an internship to his Washington office that the founder of "Girls Gone Wild" says he bought for the winner of a reality show.

Pryor's office said Wednesday it believes someone fraudulently impersonated a senator to offer the internship.

Pryor denied claims that a summer internship would go to the winner of Joe Francis' show, "The Search for the Hottest Girl in America."

Francis had said the internship would be among the show's prizes after he bid on it during an online charity auction for a California temple last weekend. His website no longer lists it.

Late Wednesday, temple officials said the "private party" that organized the benefit had returned the money. They didn't identify the organizer.
