Two of the state's top recruits, Sequoyah-Tahlequah quarterback Brayden Scott and Edmond Santa Fe safety Khari Harding, each made contributions to the victory.

Scott rushed for a touchdown and threw for another, finishing 13 of 20 for 196 yards through the air. He was 4-of-5 for 81 yards on the team's final scoring drive to put the game away in the fourth quarter.

Scott's TD pass was a 7-yarder to Demarcus Ayers of Lancaster, Texas, who finished with seven catches for 115 yards and earned the USA team MVP award.

Harding, who has verbally committed to Arkansas, recorded one tackle for a 2-yard loss from his safety position.

Team USA, the top seed in the event, will be back in action at 8 p.m. Wednesday with a semifinal game against fifth-seeded Austria, which defeated fourth-seeded Panama 40-0 Saturday.

With a win, Team USA will advance to next Saturday's gold medal game against the Japan/Canada winner.
