OKC buried the Lakers and a 12-game franchise losing streak to L.A. The Thunder led by as many as 33 points. Kobe Bryant sat out the fourth quarter with nine turnovers and 11 points. OKC’s outstanding defense held the Lakers to 39.2 percent shooting and seven assists, their lowest total since 1964. Thunder center Nenad Krstic turned in one of his best games, grabbing nine rebounds in the first quarter. Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Pau Gasol played "soft.”
