The Oklahoma Tax Commission said Wednesday it miscalculated the amount of state sales tax revenue for December. About $10 million was mistakenly reported as state sales tax collections when it actually was sales tax collections for cities and counties.

As a result, the state sales tax collections were not a record as reported on Page 9A, state finance officials said. Actual state sales tax collection receipts for December totaled $163.1 million, according to the Tax Commission.
