Seven deaths reported by Oklahoma authorities

The deaths of seven people Friday night and Saturday were reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City police.

Seven people died in traffic crashes Friday night and Saturday morning, Oklahoma authorities reported Saturday.

Beatric Trevino, 44, Edcouch, Texas

Konnie Flores, 16, Edcouch, Texas

Shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday, Trevino and Flores, were eastbound on Interstate 44 in Rogers County when their sport utility vehicle was clipped by another vehicle and rolled several times, troopers said.

Trevino and Flores died at the scene. They were not wearing seat belts, troopers said.

Chance Clifton, 17, North Richland Hills, Texas

Abigail Key, 15, North Richland Hills, Texas

About 7 p.m. Friday, Clifton and Key were passengers in a westbound sport utility vehicle on Interstate 40 in Caddo County.

The wheels broke off an eastbound tractor-trailer and rolled into the eastbound lanes, smashing into the windshield of the SUV, troopers said. The SUV ran off the road and crashed. has disabled the comments for this article.
