Severe storm watch issued for NE Oklahoma

The National Weather Service has placed most of Oklahoma north of Interstate 40 and east of Interstate 35 under a severe thunderstorm watch.

The watch is effective until 4 a.m. Saturday in Adair, Creek, Grant, Kay, Le Flore, Mayes, Noble, Oklahoma, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Seminole, Wagoner, Cherokee, Delaware, Haskell, Kingfisher, Lincoln, McIntosh, Nowata, Okmulgee, Pawnee, Pottawatomie, Sequoyah, Washington, Craig, Garfield, Hughes, Latimer, Morgan, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Osage, Payne, Rogers and Tulsa counties.

When will the May 3rd storm come to a end? For 5 or 6 years the public have been terrorized by the local stations. Their graphics (watches) cover 1/5th of the TV screen most of the times. Then interrupt programming to tell us something that is 120 miles away from OKC but thanks to cable and satellite boost there signal. If you lived in Tornado Alley long enough than you know what the signs are. Of course the meteorologist would argue this because someone has to pay for all those electronics.....I don't care if you debate this or not...in the end you know....
