Severe storms likely across central Oklahoma Sunday afternoon
Forecasters said a cold front from Texas will cause storms across western and central Oklahoma Sunday evening. The storms could be severe and produce large hail and damaging winds.
A cold front moving across western Texas and Oklahoma will cause severe thunderstorms Sunday evening, forecasters said.
The storms could produce tennis ball-size hail. Winds about 60 mph and heavy rainfall are also possible with the stronger storms, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a 20 percent chance of showers and storms in Oklahoma City after 3 p.m. Sunday. Skies will be partly sunny with a high temperature near 89 degrees and south-southwest wind with gusts as high as 25 mph.
The chance of thunderstorms in Oklahoma City will increase to 40 percent Sunday night. Meteorologists said most of the storms will develop after 7 p.m. Sunday and could be severe.
Skies will be cloudy later in the evening with a low of 61 and south wind with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. North northwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
