Severe weather expected to continue today

Isolated rain and thunderstorms are possible early today across western portions of Oklahoma. Elsewhere, mostly cloudy and humid conditions will prevail this morning, with temperatures mainly in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
A few thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and tonight over parts of central and eastern Oklahoma. The storm threat is forecast to shift into eastern sections of the state on Friday and Saturday and return Sunday for other parts of Oklahoma, forecasters said.
Skies today and Friday should be partly sunny, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms today and a slight chance on Friday, forecasters said. Highs should reach the 80s on Thursday and cool into the 60s and 70s on Friday. Lows tonight are expected to range from the 40s in the Panhandle to the 60s in southeastern Oklahoma.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected Saturday through Monday.
There is a possibility of storms Saturday in eastern Oklahoma and the rest of the state has a good chance of precipitation by early Sunday, the weather service said.
Strong thunderstorms moved on Wednesday through the state.
At 9 a.m. today, about 1,350 Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. customers in Achille, Bokchito, Caddo, Colbert, Durant and Mead reported power outages, according to the company's Web site.
The temperature in Oklahoma City at 9 a.m. today was 67 degrees. Southerly winds were about 20 mph, gusting to near 30 mph.
In Tulsa, the temperature was 66 degrees. Southeasterly winds were 10 mph. Today's high will be in the mid-80s with southerly winds 10 to 20 mph and gusting to near 30 mph.

• Today: Mostly cloudy before turning cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-80s. Southerly winds 15 to 25 mph. Twenty percent chance of thunderstorms in the morning.
• Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows about 60. Southerly winds 20 to 25 mph. Twenty percent chance of thunderstorms.
• Friday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 70s. Westerly winds 15 to 20 mph shifting to northerly winds 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Twenty percent chance of thunderstorms.
• Friday night: Clear. Lows in the upper 40s. Easterly winds about 10 mph.
