Sexting scandal hits Hearst

Hearst executive Scott Sassa has left the company after a stripper forwarded their “sext” messages to Sassa’s boss, according to The New York Post.

Sassa, 53, reportedly met the woman in Los Angeles in December.

The Post reports that the woman tried to blackmail Sassa and threatened to expose their messages if he didn’t give her money.

When Sassa didn’t pay up, she sent the messages to company officials, including CEO Frank Bennack Jr., Hearst Magazines president David Carey and Michael Clinton, president of marketing for the magazines, the Post reports.
