Re-Post: Go the night before and stay in one of the nice motels and walk. Terry, Yukon - Aug 21, 2007 9:44 PM
Terry-- "WALK", ARE YOU KIDDING!!!!! During a game, most men don't even like walking from their easy chair to the frig for a cold brew-- that's what the wife and kids are for! Most wouldn't even walk to the restroom if they could get someone else to do it for them! :>]

Your seats are not so crowded at home..you can even put your feet up and truly relax! No one stands up in front of you and blocks your view when you would prefer to remain sitting. It's great that so many games are televised!

"favorite time" should have read "favorite TEAM".

Deann, you are so right.--There's a lot to be said for having the AC / heat control on a nearby wall- and the added comfort of your best four legged buddy [dog or cat] curled up next to you for a little extra warmth & comfort. [And if you or the family happen to drop some food on the floor, while cheering for your favorite time- your little buddy will willingly clean-up the mess in a jiffy!]

Ahhh, David. It's also not too cold/hot in your own living room! I've sweltered/frozen at enough games in my life that I don't need to do it anymore.

Watching the NFL [and college games] at home, on the big screen. Close to the restroom, better food & drinks and more comfortable seating. And if I go to sleep in my big ole easy-chair during the game- I don't have to worry about getting my wallet picked or being hauled to jail for having to many beers during the game. :>))

Take one benadryl right before you get in the car. Let your husband drive. While he fights the traffic and the inappropriate hand gestures, you'll get a nice nap that will refresh you for the game. As a proper reward to your husband, DO let him put onions on his hotdog.

Stay away from Norman. :) Actually I found going down East of Norman then cutting back to Lloyd Nobel on 9 was fairly painless.

Have all road construction finished before the season starts.

From OKC, drive through Newcastle to SH 9. Go east to Norman and park at Lloyd Nobel. At least that's the way I did it back when I went to the games.
