Sheriff's deputies net 21 arrests
Saturation patrols and a checkpoint yielded 21 arrests across three central Oklahoma counties Saturday night. At Sooner Road and Waterloo Road, which is a border between Logan and Oklahoma counties, sheriff's deputies netted 11 arrests, including six on complaints of driving under the influence, Oklahoma County sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers said. Deputies also wrote 55 citations and issued 86 warnings, he said. The checkpoint ran from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. In Cleveland County, 10 people were arrested during saturation patrols, including five DUI complaints, sheriff's spokeswoman Meghan McCormick said. Of the 21 arrests, four were arrested on outstanding warrants and five were driving with suspended licenses.
