Cleveland County employees, downtown workers and others turned out Tuesday for a blood drive co-sponsored by the Oklahoma Blood Institute and the sheriff's office.

Each donor received two tickets to the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Sheriff Joe Lester said turnout for the drive was good.

“Donating blood is one way to give back and help a person in a time of need,” he said.
