The chase started on an Interstate 35 service road near SE 29th and ended near Interstate 40 and Sunnylane Road, said Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Brian Orr. At the end of the chase, the man got out of his car and exchanged fire with troopers, Orr said.

The man was killed in the shootout. One trooper was shot in the face and the other in the leg, Orr said. Both were transferred to an Oklahoma City-area hospital. Both troopers were expected to survive, Orr said.
