Shooting victim becomes Oklahoma City's 92 homicide in 2012

A 48-year-old man who was shot Friday has died, becoming the 92nd homicide case of 2012 in Oklahoma City, police said.

A man has died of gunshot injuries suffered in a Friday night shooting, Oklahoma City police report Wednesday.

Jose Garcia, 48, is the 92nd homicide victim of the year.

Latosha Hawks, 27, was wounded in the same incident.

Police were called about 9:30 p.m. Friday to 12 SW 41, Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

Two Hispanic males in a new black Nissan Maxima or Volkswagen Passat got into an altercation with the victims before opening fire, police said.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call the homicide tip line at 297-1200.
