Oklahoma City police released this morning the name of a man wounded in a shoot-out with police early Saturday.
Rogelio Quinoes-Zarate, 29, was arrested on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer and has been booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
Detectives are still trying to verify that the suspect's name is Rogelio Quinoes-Zarate. That's the name that was used when he was booked into jail, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
Quinoes-Zarate first fired shots at officers from the porch of a home in the 700 block of SE 49 about 3:05 a.m. Saturday, police said.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
The officer who shot Quinoes-Zarate, Sgt. Claylan Cline, has been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
