The first time Adrian Taylor saw construction on the new Cowboys Stadium, he didn’t know what it was.
"I was like, ‘What is that?’ ” Taylor said.
But soon after, the Oklahoma defensive tackle found out.
"When I learned that was going to be the new stadium, I was like, ‘Wow,’ ” recalled Taylor, who grew up in Arlington, Texas, about 10 minutes from the stadium. "Then when they told us we were going to play there, I was like, ‘Wow.’ ”
Saturday, OU and BYU will become the first two teams to play a regular-season football game inside the new home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Players from both sides are amped about competing inside the $1.15 billion structure, the third-most expensive stadium built in the world.
"I’m excited,” Taylor said. "The team is excited.
"I can’t wait for everybody to get to see it.”
