*Some Thunder fans got up close and personal with Ron Artest (Metta World Peace) in the first half when the Laker enforcer crashed into the first row of seats. It took a minute for him to get untangled and on his feet, but when he did he mussed up the hair of the guy who took the brunt of the collision. That fan? Oklahoman publisher Chris Reen.
*Former Thunder forward Morris Peterson sat courtside with Kevin Durant's family. He played four games for Oklahoma City during 2010-11 season before being traded to Charlotte, which waved him four days later. Even though he hasn't played in the NBA since, Mo Pete is one of the all-time good guys in the league.

*TNT analyst Craig Sager stepped it up a notch from Game 1. After an outfit that fell well short of his normally wild combinations, he went with a striped blue shirt, a red-and-blue patterned tie and a blue jacket that wasn't far off the blue shirts worn by Thunder fans.
*Speaking of those shirts, Thunder fans wore blue and white shirts for Game 2. The colors alternated from one section to the next. It was a totally sweet look both at The Peake and on TV.
*Know what else looked sweet? The scene outside The Peake. Another crowd in excess of 5,000 packed Reno Avenue to watch the game on the screen outside the arena.
