Signing day cliffhangers

A look at some of Signing Day's other big decisions:

DE Chris Jones: No recruitment has taken as many twists and turns over the past few weeks as Jones. He's committed to Mississippi State but has taken visits to Ole Miss lately and then lied about taking them as he started receiving threats from fans from both schools.

DE Robert Nkemdiche: Nkemdiche, Rivals.com's top-rated prospect in the class, appears likely to head a very strong group of signees at Ole Miss. The Rebels have five-star wide receiver Laquon Treadwell already atop a very good class, and Nkemdiche's brother was a All-SEC player as a freshman for the Rebels. Nkemdiche was committed to Clemson at one point but figures to choose between Ole Miss, LSU and Georgia.

DE Torrodney Prevot: Prevot has been committed to USC since late July, but as the Trojans' fortunes have sunk, Texas A&M has crept back into the picture with its success. Prevot remains committed to USC but could flip to A&M on Wednesday.

DT A'Shawn Robinson: Robinson had some of the suspense taken out of his commitment choice last week when it was reported he would sign with Alabama after being a longtime commitment to Texas. But Robinson still hasn't made his commitment public going into Signing Day. If Robinson goes to Alabama, the Longhorns could be left without a five-star commitment.

RB Altee Tenpenny: The North Little Rock, Ark., running back has been committed to Alabama for more than a year but has seriously entertained thoughts of going elsewhere in the past few weeks, especially as Arkansas has hit him hard following the hiring of Bret Bielema as Razorbacks coach.

DT Eddie Vanderdoes and DE Kylie Fitts: The pair were once committed together, to USC but there's a strong likelihood that both instead wind up across town at UCLA.
