UPDATE: 9:34 a.m. Wednesday -- A man missing from Oklahoma City has been found, police report. Johnnie Stamper was reported missing Tuesday. Oklahoma City police officers found Stamper outside his pickup that was stuck in the mud on private property at SW 179 and Pennsylvania Ave. about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. An ambulance crew took Stamper from the hay field where he was found to OU Medical Center. He was in critical condition, authorities report.
Oklahoma City police issued a Silver Alert for a man with a heart condition who went missing Tuesday afternoon.
Johnnie Allen Stamper, 66, was reported missing by his wife from their home in the 2900 block of Elmwood Avenue, near Wilshire and May. She last spoke with him by phone about 5 p.m. and told police he sounded disoriented.
Stamper is white, 6 feet tall, weighs 275 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.
Stamper was last seen wearing a black jacket and white T-shirt with a camouflage hat.
Police said he may be driving a dark green Dodge pickup with Oklahoma tag number 330HYJ.
