Silver Alert issued for Owasso woman

Alberta Weddle, 77, was last seen about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving a hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., on her way to Owasso. She has dementia and diabetes.

Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 77-year-old Owasso woman last seen in Kansas.

Alberta Weddle was seen about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving a hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., on her way back to Owasso, police reported.

She was driving a silver 2000 Chevy Cavalier with Oklahoma license plate 977AIN.

Weddle was wearing a black and white dress with a black sweater. She has a mole on her left cheek.

Weddle has dementia and diabetes, police reported.

If anyone sees Weddle or her vehicle, is asked to call Owasso police at (918) 272-2244.
